Big Fat eternal bug or me not getting it??
Hey there!
Here's a screenshot bunch of bounces of a track with the click II plugin. Same thing as described below happens with instrument tracks too, audion is around 750 samples too early when bounced online and offline. I have tried various settings, and these bounces in the screenshot show variations of delay on and off, offline, online, PT10 & 11 etc etc. The tracks you see with notes perfectly on the grid are elastic quantized afterwards. * The click plug plays perfectly with the bounce. * The Quantized track does NOTplay in time together with the plugin. THIS MEANS bounce works correctly but instrument plugins seem to be early regardless of how you set ADC. So you have to PULL everything to sit perfectly on the grid?? In 2014?????? And feel like that's rock steady programming??? How do you people deal with this? Or is it Logic time? Jack |

Do any of the tracks in your session use Pro Tools internal busses for outputs that do not feed another type of track in your session (aka dummy output)?

Re: Big Fat eternal bug or me not getting it??
Hi Jonathan, thanks for your quick reply.
Actually, this is regardless of bus structure. Even when I create a new session, stereo mix, create click track and bounce. Online, offline and with and withour Delay compensation. Systems: Studio computer Macbook Pro retina mid 2012 with PT 11.1, 11.1.2 and also Pro Tools 10. Mountain lion Also tried it on Macbook Air + Mavericks -same thing Funny thing is on a PC with windows 7 and an i3 CPU it was right on the grid. What can this be all about? Best regards, Jack |
