Windows XP computers with PCIe card slots are not qualified at this time by Digi. Click on the "Details" tab.

You will need an HD-1 PCI card for starters or you will get no tech support from Digi if you ever need it at this time. If you are going to be using a ton of plug-ins then I would recommend the Quadzilla. There are a few Quad guys who have the hybrid system going. basically it's the HD-1 core card which handles the I/O, PDC, mix engine and the plug-ins are handled by the Quad via RTAS. You'll have plug-ins for days with a Quad.

I read that some people in the TDM forum have working PCIe systems.

We actually already have the PCIe card but I think it is possible to exchange it back for a PCI if absolutely necessary.

This is for some post-production work and will actually primarily be used for software development.

That is correct. But if you need support or help from Digi, you wont get it at this time.

Check out Nikki's sticky on the TDM for XP forum. She has a few working and stable systems that might work for you. At the end of the day it needs to be rock solid stable.
