pro tools 7.3 download

I am not surer where I get official help with this...trying here!

I have purchased pro tools a few times over the years including all the paid updates from 6.8 though 8.0. I am now putting together a road machine. I have the mbox 2 and just got a free powerbook G4. Looks like I can run pro tools 7.3 on it (upgraded ram)

BUT I don't have any mac installers as I have always been on PC's. Anyone know where I get the 7.3 mac installer?

I still have all my auth codes from the past. Help?

If you are registered, go to the main site and MyDigi and log onto your account. You should be able to download from there.

I actually did that and the only files it has available for me are the version 8.0 files. I assume because everything else is out of date??

Anyone else with tips?

oh and btw...when I go the my digi...it now directs me to avids site. when I log in there it says...

Eh, I think at the moment something is up with the digidesign website... hopefully this means some sort of update for 64 bit windows?? *crosses fingers*. If you registered all your versions online they should be up there for download I know all my versions are up there if not you might be able to find them on the digi website... I actually have a question though see if anyone knows the answer to this one. I bought my micro after I paid for my 8.0 upgrade and currently haven't registered the 8.0. I was wondering if I wait to register it until they advertise digi's next big pay for upgrade will I be able to get it free?

The database error has been fixed, logins are now working again on the webstore and the your account login pages.

rdrean, I checked your account and found all of your downloads for PTLE 7.4. To access the downloads (and your PTLE 7.4 authorization code)...

1. Go to Your Account: http://account.avid.com
2. Login with your regular My Digi/DigiStore email and password
3. Under Orders, click on "Order History"
4. Where it says "view past orders", choose 2008
5. Where it says "Pro Tools LE 7.3 to 7.4 Upgrade", click on View Order
6. Scroll down to the bottom of your order to download the installers.

I don't see anything for PTLE 7.3 other than that you registered it. It looks like that was the version you already had rather than downloading it. Maybe you purchased a boxed upgrade from a dealer, or maybe it just doesn't show up in our system.

You don't need a previous install of Pro Tools to install either PTLE 7.4 or 8.0. Even though these are called upgrades, they are full installers. It's just a question of whether you want to run 7.4 or 8.0 on your system.

ALSO, I noticed on your account that you have not yet activated and downloaded the third party content included with Pro Tools 8. Click on "Products Not Yet Downloaded" in Your Account when you are ready to do that.

And the compatibility for PTLE 7.3.x and 7.4 is pretty similar:

I would probably go with 7.4 since you already have access to that. I ran 7.4 on my own Powerbook G4 for quite some time. It died before PT 8 came out, and I never tried it with Leopard or PT8, but if you are on Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), you should be fine.
