Default Looking for German Dub Stage and AE

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently looking for a german speaking assistant editor and any advice on Dolby certified dub stages in Munich, preferably with a Pro Tools control surface (although any advice would be great).

Thanks for your help!

Zach

I should also clarify that I'm looking for a german-speaking sound editor/assistant editor based in Los Angeles, not in Germany.

Big thanks to those who have gotten in touch already!

Zach

My old friend Abi Schnieder at Bavaria FilmPlatz Munich could be just the man you're looking for.

cinepostproduction is all MPCs for Theatrical. Only the TV-room has a 32 fader icon. Not sure if they can cable that over to Studio A. Don´t think so but better ask.

Hi Frank, have to say it's been maybe 15 years since I mixed a film there but if the Pro Tools is an option there then Abi would be my mixer any day,
All the best

Sure. Just wanted to point out that the facillity doesn´t have a theatrical dolby-stage with an icon, AFAIK. (I was there yesterday)

Generally speaking there are only very few full scale theatrical mixing-stages in germany that use icons. All of the major stages use MPCs. There are some smaller dolby licensed rooms that have icons but not many. I know 2 in Berlin but none in Munich.

all the best,

frank.
