Duplicating regions is weird?
I don't know what to say except that duplicate MIDI regions is weird now.
I would normally have a 2 bar MIDI region in PT7 and when I'm happy with it, I would duplicate it for next next 6 bars or whatever. If there was a MIDI not whose duration went over 2 bars, that never seemed to be a problem. Now, if I select two bars of MIDI and duplicate it, the duplicated section might be 3 bars long. Am I the only one seeing this? It makes working with the regions a little confusing now. |

Re: Duplicating regions is weird?
I'm having some strange issues with midi/inst regions as well, haven't tried audio yet. I just upgraded from 6.4 to PT8. I'm finding that in some circumstances, duplicating a midi region auto-joins it and adds extra space to the end of the region: I think this is if a note extends past the region--but then you have to re-trim the region. [edit] seems to happen with Structure free in multi-timbral mode: Here's my thread with my details.
