Default Problems with Xpand on imported midi from cubase

I have exported a load of songs as midi "type 1" from Cubase. Then I import them in Pro tools, I make instrument tracks for each miditrack. Moves the midi to the new tracks and want to open Xpand. The first message is:
"A file with the specified name already exists (-48) while creating "Plug-In settings"

And then when I try to open a saved session with an imported midifile i get this:

"Could not complete the Open session because a file with the specified name already exists (-48) while creating "Xpand!" while translating tracks."

Does anyone know what thar means?

best regards Majita
