Reason stops receiving MIDI if I'm away for awhile

Anyone encountered this? Reason works great with my MIDI system, etc, but if I go to work and come back, it is no longer receiving signal from the keyboard (note on light won't light/no sound/otherwise Reason appears unchanged, there is no "crash" of Reason or any other part of the sitem as a whole).

The MIDI portion of Reason just stops communicating if I'm gone awhile.

I thought this might be due to powersaving settings/sleep timing/screensaver, so i disabled all those things. I don't understand and could use your help. As it is, each time I come back to the computer to continue my work I have to quit Reason and restart the program, then it works fine again -- until I go away for awhile.

This does not happen on my laptop.

Hi Namaste. I got the same problem, if I leave Reason on over night (on my laptop though). You shoud try the Propellerheads forum about this...
I guess it's just one of those silly bugs you have to live with. Maybe Reason 2.0 is better.

Weird! Because I HAVE Reason 2.0. But will do as to the propellorheads forum.
