Backwards compatibility of PT sessions

I am trying to open a PT 6.1 LE session that was created on a windows system (with mac/PC compat enforced) on a Mac TDM system running PT 5.1.3 Mix Plus OS9.2.

In doing so I have "saved session copy" backwards to a PT 5 session...however, when attempting to open the session on the TDM system (the drive i am using is HTFS), I am faced with the error -39. (answerbase wasn't overly helpful in this situation).

Does anyone have a possible solution for me??

why are you saving back to a 5 session?

The format change occured at 5.1.

sessions from 5.1 til 6.9 are compatible.

You also shouldn't try to open the session from the windows formatted drive on a mac. Copy the session to a proper drive and it should work fine in its current format, as pointed out above.
