Newbie-ish Beat Detective Question
Hi
I've beem using PT for a while, but I'm still relatively new to Beat Detective. I'm trying to generate a click track from an existing live band performance. The most constant track is the hi-hat, which is playing quarter notes throughout most of the tune. Beat Detective does a pretty good job at determining the tempo, but naturally when the hi-hat drops out (for a drum fill or what not) the tempo goes all over the place. What's the best way to correct this? Thanks in advance, Joe |

Re: Newbie-ish Beat Detective Question
This is my way of doing it...
Select 1 measure of the fill/solo at a time. As you capture that measure, tell BD that it's only 1 measure. It should place 4 beats in the measure as you bring the sensitivity up, then just slide the yellow indicators to where the actual beat is (if it's not right the first time).
