Default Don't forget the new HD Driver!!

Dont forget:
When installing 12.6 on Sierra, or upgrading to Sierra, to install the new HD driver from the application manager. The download version in PT12, or in your Avid account is the older version.
I had a brainfart, and wondered why my Omni HD would not be seen by PT12.6 HD, the button stayed orange. Digitest would not show any hardware, HDX card or Omni
Downloaded the updated driver in application manager, and had to reboot/aka shutdown completely, and power cycle hardware twice.

Now working fine!!

What did you upgrade from? I rolled back from El Capitan mainly because of missing hard drive issues though PT12 ran just fine. Did you do an OS upgrade or a new system? Im on a 2013 MBook Pro quad and may consider updating when they release a newer generation CPU which I suspect will happen next year. Im really thinking of downgrading to the current dual core and see what happens. Best Buy will let me return one so if the performance is bad I could. But the new 13.3 have a cpu I think a generation newer than the current 15.4.

I just downloaded HD_Driver_12_6_0_Mac_93789 from my account, which
is a newer version than the first one.
Is the version you got from App Manager a newer version yet?

Thanks

The new working 12.6 HD driver is now in your account. Or you can use application manager.
