Loop: in and out
I have a question: I start a playback, then it goes into a loop (section). How do I get out of this loop without ending the playback?

Re: Loop: in and out
If Darryl's link doesn't help, come back with a complete explanation of the exact issue(I'm not sure if you are talking about loop recording or loop playback).

Make a new selection (or clear the selection by clicking anywhere in the timeline) and then click TL to Edit selection ('o' in keyboard focus mode). You get the same result by simply enabling/disabling Dynamic transport (Cmd-Ctrl-P), so if you prefer to not stay in Dynamic Transport mode, you can set up a macro (on a control surface or through SoundFlow / KB Maestro / etc.) to 'double-click' the keyboard shortcut (Cmd-Ctrl-P).. Re: Loop: in and out
Thank you for your answers! But I'm afraid I wasn't clear enough: in the middle of a clip there's a section I want to repeat as often as I want, on the fly. With this I want to be able to spontaneously vary the playback time of the clip in a performance. In Cubase, I activate and deactivate the locator for this. Somewhere I have to flip a switch in my head, I just don't know where.

Re: Loop: in and out
I've got it, finally:
1.: dynamic transport: on (strg+Windows+P) 2.: Click loop section (in memory location window) 3.: Copy selection to timeline (alt+shift+5) 4.: Set starting point 5.: start 6.: to leave: dynamic transport: off (strg+Windows+P) |
