An Activation/Redemption Code is used to add the software to your Avid account and deposit the licenses in your iLok account. If you bought the product from a reseller they would provide you with a code which you would then enter at
https://my.avid.com/products/redemption whereas buying it from the Avid Store handles that for you. You're already beyond this step.
As stated in an earlier post, if you have
Avid Link open and signed in then that handles license activation for you (you can just launch the Pro Tools app). If you don't want
Avid Link open, you can launch
iLok License Manager and sign in, then
Open Your Cloud Session so the license is activated and ready for you to launch Pro Tools.
