Default Exponential Audio on Sale

Hi folks,
In case you missed the mailing last week, I've just kicked off a sale that will run until March 10. Everything in the store, including upgrades, is 30% off until March 10.

I bumped into several of you this past Saturday at the C.A.S. dinner. Nice to see people in person, especially when we're all stuffed into tuxedos and painful shoes!

Michael,
Love your stuff!!!

A few questions if I may?

#1. Did you have anything to do with the original 224 algos? Reason I ask is that R2 can sound very similar to UA's 224 emulation.

#2. I notice that most if not all presets have a fairly LONG reverb time. Is this by design? Any reason for not having some med and short presets?

thanks.

I didn't work on the 224, although I know most of what made the 224 tick. I did want something of that sound universe, although I wanted to avoid a number of the artifacts that came along with it. So it will sound similar in a number of places, but it differs in just as many ways.

I respond to what people ask for. Depending on the plug, there are a fair amount of small rooms (more in Phoenix than R2, I think). This time around, I was responding to a request from Dennis Sands, who needed some longer presets for scoring situations. Each time I release, I add some presets. Since this last time I added long ones, I'm sure next time will have more short ones. Call me fickle, if you must

Nice!

I had just recently started the evaluation of the PhoenixVerb and I have been very impressed with the quality of this plugin. I also found the tutorial "Reverb 101 with PhoenixVerb" VERY helpful and informative.

I recently started migrating projects to Pro Tools 11 and needed a replacement for the Lexicon PCM reverb set which is not AAX64. Frankly, the PhoenixVerb is easier to use AND sounds better. At 30% off its a no-brainer.

Congrats on the newest release Michael. The two Exponential Audio verbs I tried out where stellar.
