DAE error -6004 anyone?

I'm getting this error -6004 plus Unable to comunicate w/ hardware.
I'm using a PT 5.1.1/digi 001 on a a G3 powerbook w/ a magma PCI expansion card w/express Pro Tools 2.3.2 , A Glyph Project X 30 GB firewire and a Lacie 70GB external HD. The magma is almost a prototipe w/ no On and Off button on it but has worked so far. Anyone knows how to resolve this one.
