Aardvark Gear

I was at Aardvark's site, and they have a unit that has 8 xlr inputs with their own outputs and a pre on each, all in one rack space. Are any of you using this with the 001? The cheapest mixer that I found to serve as pre-amps for channels 3-8 on the 001 is the Alesis studio 24. Most mixers don't have individual preamp outputs on each channel.
