Default MIDI Notes Size Issue PT8

When I started using PT8 and using MIDI notes view, all of my tracks seem to randomly come up with different note sizes. I can zoom or use other commands, but cannot get all of the tracks to "default" to the same size for editing. Double click on zoom icon or other commands change sizes proportionally but do not get all tracks to the same size. I read thru some similar threads but no one seems to have an answer - it is either a bug, or there must be a preference setting that I'm not aware of. I know that this was not happening in PT7.
