8.0.3 keeps crashing

I just upgraded my imac to snow leopard, downloaded the protools upgrade. Every time I try to insert a send to a buss it crashes. Sometimes it says access violation occurred, or it just crashes. Need help really bad. I can be reached on ichat at [email protected]

I went back to version 8.0cs3....not 1 crash!

I would like to help figure out what is going on with your system/sessions.

In Pro Tools 8.0.3, we added better and more robust logging to help track down problems like the one you are seeing. When Pro Tools crashes, some information about the crash is written out to a log file. The log files are kept in the "LogFiles" folder that is next to the Pro Tools application.

Here's what you need to do...

1) Reproduce the crash you are seeing.
2) Look in the LogFiles folder and find the latest log file. The file name ends with .dlog
3) Email this "dlog" file to [email protected]. Please include your DUC user name and the hyper-link to this DUC thread (http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?p=1535696) so I can track which post this came from.

Please put my name in the subject line of the email.

Same here i'm afraid. I can't click on a bus/send/insert an instrument without a crash.
DTSM is there still a live link for 8.0cs3?
I haven't had much time to problem solve. I had intended to do a complete re-install of the OS in a new drive cause. Would be good to avoid having to do that obviously!

Just check under Pro Tools 8 LE CS Updates for that download.
Do an un-install...then re-install 8.0cs3 then everything should be groovy!
