I´ve got an old Smpte Slave Driver and my question is if it´s possible to hook it up to a NT 24MIX system with an ADAT Bridge to get Adat machine control and sync?
Is it compatible with the new system? ------------------ Kjell-Åke Norén MusicFamily Noren&Jaarnek HB

You can use a SSD with Pro Tools for NT
but you will need a JLcooper or similar device to achieve ADAT sync. A supported MIDI interface and ADAT sync peripheral plus the ADAT bridge would be required. The SSD would be good for reading SMPTE or LTC but would not be of any value with a ADAT. MJ Digidesign Technical Support [This message has been edited by TechSupt (edited August 15, 2000).] |
