Default Getting "Access violation occurred-unable to read location" error in 2019.10

Hello all,

It's been eons since I've had any issues with my system until of course this AM for me...

Just upgraded to 2019.10 this AM and started getting "Access violation occurred-unable to read location" error...Not sure what happened, but because of this, I can't open PT...I'm guessing this has something to do with the Xpand!2 plug-in - see attached screenshot, splash page keeps freezing up whenever PT tries to find it...

Here's what I've done thus far:

1) Reinstalled PT2019.10 (twice), even went down 2019.06 - get the same error
2) Reinstalled Xpand!2 2018.10, still get the same error
3) Trashed preferences repeatedly, did nothing
4) Checked the plug-in folder, (C:/Program Files/ Common Files/ Avid/ Audio/ Plug-ins) Xpand!2 is where it should be or is that not the case? I have not deleted it...Should I?

Simply put I'm out of ideas and the forums only say so much about this. Hoping someone can throw out an idea or 2...Appreciate it...Thanks in advance!

Have you tried running PT as an administrator? I'm not sure how that works in Win 10, but in Win 7, IIRC right click the start icon and go into the Advanced tab.

Yep, did that as well, still had the same problem...Sorry, I forgot to mention that earlier...

Try moving Xpand 2 plugin from your plugins folder to the unused plugins folder. If you start PT after that and it starts as expected, you can quit PT and add Xpand 2 back to your plugins folder and it should work. If you start PT after removing the Xpand 2 plugin and there's another plugin trying to load that would have been after Xpand 2 and you get the same error message, you need to remove all plugins that would have normally loaded after Xpand 2 to your unused plugins folder. Start PT and let it load, quit PT and add them plugins you moved to your unused plugins folder back to your plugins folder and all should be fine. PT will only load so many plugins when first installed or you clear your plugin data base. This sounds like what I use to go through til I purchsed the Pro Tools Trasher app.
