I'm keeping my Digi 001!! Wait for 003???

Well, after much thought, I have decided to keep my Digi 001. I'm going to sink my extra $400 into McDSP analog channel. I think this is a plug-in I have to have with my Waves bundle. PT 6.4 with my outboard converters and preamps has served me so well. How could I ditch that ugly litlle blue rack?? Man, this gear obsession thing never goes away. I guess I will see how the 003 looks, before I go into further debt. ha. Thanks to those that helped with my decision here on the trusty DUC.

I think the same, I've been using my Digi001 for 4 years and it's been wonderfull, I recently bought an M-Box to be able to mix with the latest software and for teching purposes but I want a new interface, 002R is not quite what I want, I hope that Digi 003 will come soon and with decent inprouvements, not like the M-Box 2 that for me was a dissapointment. I'm trying to stay with Protools since it's a great tool but I envy some friends that use Nuendo with other interfaces and the can do lot of things taht with PT I just dream about. I expect taht Digi003 with PT7 will have us again in the top of the DAWS, until then... a little patience is reccommended.
