PT10, Eleven Rack and Keystudio

Hi folks,

I am having some trouble despite a lot of reading and searching, hopefully someone can provide some help. The question could probably go in one of three forums...

I bought PT10 today along with an Eleven Rack, which I am using as my sole audio interface. I have upgraded from a simple Keystudio/PT SE bundle, which I have been using on my PC.

I was intending to use the M-Audio KeyStudio 49 as my midi controller (it has both power AND connection via usb). The eleven rack has no USB input but it does have midi inputs.

I thought PT 10 would identify the Keyboard but it is not listed in 'Setup => Midi Devices'.

My question is should I be plugging the Keystudio into the USB of the PC (which is what I have been doing but can't seem to get PT10 to find it), or should I be buying a USB to Midi cable and hooking the keyboard up to the Eleven Rack interface?
