Default What ever happened to those free plug-ins?

There was a promotional offer of two free plug-ins on upgrading to HD.
Two months later still no news on this......

I recall there being an offer whereby if you upgraded to HD prior to June 15th, they'd give you two plugins for free (among which were Soft Sample Cell and Reverb One).

Perhaps this is what you're remembering?

Best,
Rich

If you went through a dealer, they should have ordered the plugs when you upgraded. If you went direct, Digi should have asked you what plugs you wanted.

I went through a dealer, and because they swapped out one of their in-stock systems (instead of waiting for an "exchange" system to be ordered and delivered), Digi didn't know I had done an exchange. I had to phone and explain.

They were very nice about it, and there was no problem. I told them over the phone which plugs I wanted, and have since received both of them.

Call Digi CS or the Exchange hot line and ask about it.

Join the club. I upgraded two systems - one HD2 and one HD3. I also bought a C24. I'm still waiting for Reverb One and Sound Replacer. On top of that, some of my old plugs are not working any more. My original Reverb One, Amp Farm, DPP, D2 and Drawmer. The change to HD has been one long, embarrassing pain in the ass.
Oh yeah, I also ordered (and paid for) an extra A/D Expansion card for a 192.

I waited and waited thinking that digi was on top of it. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I called and a few days later I had ALL plugins, including Sound Replacer.

But still no reply from Digidesign.
Did anybody else have to wait two months?

Woah. Calm down.
I'll try to type slowly and calmly so this will get through:

Yes, I received my plugs, but only after calling Digi to straighten out the fact that I had done an exchange and not a new purchase. They arrived at the end of July.

If you exchanged through a dealer, call them and ask them about it.

If you exchanged through Digi, call them and ask them about it.

Did you exchange through Digi, or a dealer?
Did you register the new hadware?
Have you sent in your old hardware?
At any time, did anyone ask you which 2 plugs you wanted?
If not, you need to tell someone. They won't send you two randomly selected plugins.

Call your PT dealer or try Customer Service at 650.731.6198, or you can try the TeleSales number at 800.333.2137.

Be calm. Be rational. It'll all work out.
