I am running an older version i9-9820X @3.3GHz and 32 GB of Ram on Win 11. ASUS Prime X299-Deluxe II is the MB.

No issues with Pro Tools 2021.12.

Not sure I know exactly all the Avid specs to do. I have upgraded from version to version over the years usually as soon as they come out, and never had 1 issue just loading and using. Still tracking down what might be the issue with comments made yesterday.

Well the thing about "Avid specs" is that they need to specify what kind of configuration they have tested PT on, and therefore which configuration is SUPPORTED.

Not supported does not necessarily mean not working, but you are on your own.

Got it. Yesterday I started doing some of the suggested things from here. First thing was to have iLok load locally not in the cloud. I am really not sure how it got set up for the cloud as it has always loaded local on my other comp. I did notice on the opening of PT, that my Waves plug-ins were not loading, and when PT did open, they were not showing. After further investigation, I did see the plug-ins were active and installed according to my Waves account. So I had an online Waves tech come into my comp, and we tried several things. Finally after about 25 minutes he just dumped all files associated with Waves, and we did a open of Pro Tools and this time the plug-ins loaded. Those guys are awesome by the way, not the first time I have had to use them. I have been able to use PT since without issues, knock on wood. They said that the blue screen was not caused by those issues, but it is working now. May have been a combination of things? Just watching now to see if anything happens as I use it today. Thought I would update.

Have you done ALL of the AVID recommended system optimizations AND also ALL the AVID recommended troubleshooting steps? Don't skip a single step.
