Default Internal Audio to Pro Tools?!

Hi!

How do I get internal audio in to Pro Tools? I've tried Source-Nexus and it worked like a charm but it's $300!? I also tried black hole but could't figure it out

I'm using Latest PT, Catalina and UAD Apollo

Many thanx!
Mattias

I have always skipped the hassle and routed the optical output of system sounds into optical input of my interface. That is as close to free as it gets.

I'm not 100% clear on what you're trying to do, but perhaps check out Rogue Amoeba software's Loopback or Audio Hijack.

These guys make great products - among them Loopback, which should do what you want, and more. Not free, but not $300, and they have trials:

Another vote for Rogue Omega Loopback... it's so handy for lots of stuff. I just could not imagine a Mac without it.

But esp. if you have S/PDIF out from the mac then hardware connections is often a option folks like as mentioned earlier.

And your UAD Console mixer has loopback capability see: https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/art...els-in-Console. Not sure why that's not as well known as say the RME TotalMix FX mixer loopback.

Another possibility is Sonobus which is free and also provides AAX hooks into PT (which Loopback cannot do).
