Just got notice that Protools 2021.12 is out

I haven't read the whole release notes yet. but hopefully this release improves stability for users. I see the Monterey is still not supported so M1 Max and M1 Pro machines that must run Monterey at a minimum are still not ready for prime time. Besides the Monterey memory leaks have not been fixed by Apple yet. Report what you guys see with 2021.12. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.

Ok. I just downloaded and installed it over my existing installation. I usually do a clean install, but this time I was between projects and had a good backup ready to go and therefore took the plunge. I'm still on Big Sur 11.6.1 on a Intel I7 MBP as I'm hearing that the memory leaks in Monterey are a show stopper for some. It installed with no problems. Scanned through my plugins without out any issues. I loaded up the sample session and it played back smoothly (actually seemed snappier to me initially). Checked a few plugins and they all seem to load fine. So far so good, but as always, my setup is pretty clean and trouble free

Monterey 12.1 release candidate has been released to developers already, update should be here soon. But still, stay on Big Sur.
