ProTools crashes after offline bounce

Hello, since 2020.x protools crashes at the end of the offline bounce... the bounced file itself is ok and solid but PT gives the spinning beachball and never recovers.
Normal online bounce works like it should, I'm using pt2020.3 and upgraded to 2020.5 but still the same crash.

Anyone a solution ?

No, still crashes after offline bounce 🤬

In my experience a particular plugin is always to blame for this. Thats why upgrading Pro Tools has no effect. You just have to figure out which plugin.

I have the same issue but only when I'm bouncing to MP3

I keep my plugins updated, got even a folder with all the download links from different companies.
But even if I remove all non avid plugins it still crashes after bounce.
But these days the rig is silent since corona stepped into our country. 🤬
So no bounces made since april.

I will check 2020.9 which is released today.

One way to troubleshoot this is to make each row of inserts inactive(one row at a time) and run off-line bounce. That way you can narrow down to a plugin in that row and from there, its easy to re-activate plugins and find the culprit (assuming it is a plugin, which I also suspect).

I had exactly the same problem, not a biggie but it was really annoying when I had to make several bounces in a row. Signum Audio Bute Surround Suite 1.4.0 (only in expanded view) was to blame in my case. Well, at least I know what was causing the problem and over time I've got used to close the plugin GUI before bouncing to audio...

Glad I'm not alone guys ! This is really annoying, I'm having this when bouncing Offline in mp3 (Rough mixes) sometime pro Tools unexp quit sometime, as you mention, got the spinning ball and have to force quit !

If you found a solution please let me know !

I'm with the last version Pro Tools Ultimate fresh install recently very new rig with Mtrx Studio and all "official" plugins here

Standard configuration no Hackintosh here (was before) Mac Mini Intel 6 cores and 64G of ram
