Default Can anyone help me find a crossover freq module for my EV XEQ-2 active crossover?

I've been trying for some time to get a response from EV at their web site or via customer service numbers but their parent company is incredibly non-responsive.
I have an ElectroVoice XEQ-2 active crossover, a single rack space unit I use to bi-amp my monitors. The crossover frequency is determined by a little plug-in module on the front panel. EV doesn't have any in stock and cannot direct me to anywhere where I might obtain one. I'm about ready to buy a whole damn unit just to get an 800hz crossover frequency module! The part number is X800 (for 800hz) and I'd like to find an X1250 (1250hz) module as well. What I have now is the X500 on it.
Can anyone help me out with this? I've exhaused all possibilities with local L.A. service outlets, I think. Thanks...

Well, this isn't a perfect solution, but:

The only thing inside those modules is a bunch of resistos. If you take a reading off of the pins with a VOM, you MIGHT be able to guess-timate the proper values for a different cross-point. Try experimenting. Run some pink-noise through it, record into Protools and run a FF test.

-of course, you'd have to determine WHICh of the resistors is affecting the crossover, since some are for EQ boost and LF protection.

I have two of these XEQ units that are not being used. I am not near them right now. I will look at them on Saturday and get back to you. Might be able to give you one. I'll let you know. Email if you have questions.
