Digi answer this? Will Cubase VST work with 001?

I have a bunch invested in VST plugins for Cubase. Will the 001 allow me to run cubase and use the audio/Midi?

I'm having the same problem.....I just got the digi001, which the guy in the store assured me would be ok with cubase. Apparantly, he was misinformed. I haven't figured it out yet. Have you had any luck?

I believe that the only functionality of the 001 you can get with Cubase is the sole midi port via OMS. Someone (Digi/Steinberg?) would have to develop an ASIO driver for the 001 to use the audio.

I'm in the same boat with Cubase. However, if you have Waves plug-ins, Waves is promising a Waveshell for RTAS. I've heard it will be available sometime in January.

Don't expect Digi to switch to VST format, however - although that would be WONDERFUL!!! They like being proprietary.
