Hello,
I would like to collect from you the% CPU resource used by EuControl when used with an audio application (Logic, Pro Tools or Reaper ..) and understand for me, why EuControl becomes very greedy Very soon use with such application (100-120%) while it goes down to 5% with Mail, QuickTime, iTunes .. If you have found through experience, such a CPU consumption on the part of EuControl and solved the problem, I would be happy to hear from you ... Thank you! (EuControl 3.2.1 - 2.6 GHz i7 Macbook Pro - Mac OS.10.9.5 - Motu Ultralite MK3 -Pro Tools 11.3 - Logic X) |

We've notice the same. Without Pro Tools even open, we're seeing 60% CPU usage on a chip. This was true for 12.6 on El Capitan and Sierra. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Yep, same thing here on Sierra... 60%-70% cpu usage without Protools or even surfaces connected.
I had to shut it down and do some mixing without the S3 and dock because this and BFD3 were killing my laptop. Is this a known issue to Avid? it uses around 25% of my system, I want to believe is not as much as it's designed to use... |
