Default DVD_Video soundfiles

Hi,
Is there a standard or best practices for what kind of files to submit to authoring.
I'm producing AC3 files . . . would I submit a 5.1 AC3, a DolbySurround AC3 and a Dolby Surround Audio file to cover all the bases?

tia, jim

You should call the authoring house.
They will either ask for a DA88 with a 5.1 mix, and an LTRT or will allow you to encode it.
Also if youre encoding, ask how much handles they require. Bit rate etc.
