I've long wondered if there was a solution to this problem:
Every now and then, completely unpredictably, when I save a playlist as a soundfile, a fraction of a second of sound is lost, frequently replaced by the previous fraction of a second's sound. The longer the playlist the more likely it is to happen. If I'm working on something long like a continuous live show, or a dramatization I have to listen to the whole of the resulting soundfile and if the glitch happens I've got to go back and re-save the playlist from just before that point and edit the pieces together in the CD authoring software. It's really annoying to not be able to rely on that save funtion, to never know that will work properly until you go and listen to it all. |
