OMFTool
Hey
I'm running PT 5.0 and I'm using OMFTool 2.0.6x1. When I create an OMF from Avid Media composer and Create a session in PT with it, I am unable to select the rec function in my new session. Is it just that OMFTool is incompatable or am I stupid and overlooking something in the conversion. DC |

Re: OMFTool
DC,
I've got the same problem. I just create a new track and drag/copy to the new track. My guess is that it's related to the fact that disk allocation has changed (at least in my case, since I'm creating the PT file on a different computer than the avid). Frank |

You made me curious, so I did a test. All you need to do is Apple+Click the Rec button on the channel. Frank |

Re: OMFTool
FWIW, use OMF tool 2.0.8 unless you're importing from MediaComposer 5.x, in which case you need OMF tool 2.0.3.
