Newbie
I'm new to Pro Tools and have downloaded the trial version .I have a fair basic knowledge but need help with midis. any takers?

Hi
DUC is not the place for beginner help like you seem to be after. There are lots of great tutorials on YouTube and good commercial training courses like from folks like Groove3 that can help you get going. "MIDI" might or might not be the best thing to search for content on. "MIDI" discussions are likely to cover low level connection of MIDI keyboards etc. and maybe recording MIDI. If you want to use virtual instruments driven by MIDI you will likely find more useful content talking about "virtual instruments" or "VIs". If things are not working as expected or you are stuck then come back here, read "Help us help you" up the top of each DUC web page, and describe exactly what the issue is and what tutorial/instructions you are following and you will get help. |
