I don't know of anything that does reliably support Windows sleep. It's one of the first things I turn off.
Somewhere I have a USB network interface I'm going to try to use when I can dig it out, and see if that works. And I'm going to swap out cables and the switch to see if that does anything. Although it's the same exact hardware when I use my mbp or PC laptop, so I'm not hopeful, I figure it's worth a shot.
