Default RE: PT9 and Laptop

I would like to use my laptops built in Mic for a audio track. When I go to the I/O there are no paths and I cannot insert a path because all the path buttons are grayed out. In the Audio -Midi setup I have the PT Aggregate I/O option highlighted and on the right hand side of that page all the options are selected.
Built In Mic
Built In Output
Built In Input

The current session is set for 44.1 @24bit.
What else do I need to do?
Thanks
