Default MBOX 2 MINI?

Looks interesting....

I might pick one of these up to carry around with my laptop at all times... Carry this and a cheap little mxl around... That'd be pretty dope...

The only thing about this is that it, like the original Mbox, is a USB device, and there are PLENTY of post about white noise, DAE errors etc. I think I'll have to think long and hard about this.

But for laying down ideas on the fly, that would be awesome. I mean as of right now, I take my laptop and a guitar everywhere I travel. If i had this thing I'd leave it in my laptop bag, and I could lay down ideas easily into PT, instead of garage band as it is now.

My Mbox2 with my MacBook is flawless. I have none of those issues.

FWIW.

I see why you guys with the Mbox's don't want one. But I vurrently have my 002 in a 6u space rack with some other mic pres, not too easy to haul around. And seeing the price diff, I'm gonna be on one of these minis

About the same "problem" here...

Was considering that USB thingie from m-audio and purchasing PT M-powered,
but that combo seems to be more expensive then this

Still have to think about it, but looks verrrrrry interesting

I'm still waiting for something more along the lines of the M- Audio transit....now that's portable!
(yes I realize the MBox 2 mini has more options - I just want something basically for editing on the go)

If these suckers had a FW port I'd almost consider it. If Digi ever allows non-real-time BTD, my credit card comes out in a second.
