Does Pro Tools Calculate Average Tempo From Tempo Map?
When a tempo map is created, does Pro Tools calculate what the average tempo is for all of the Bar | Beat Markers?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question, but it seems fairly simple: If you have 16 bars of music that varies a bit, and you do an Identify Beat at the start and an Identify beat at bar 16, Pro Tools will calculate the average tempo over those 16 bars. Is that not what you want?

Or the 16 bars would become the average map.
However. If you use “tap tempo” you are averaging! Hit enter and get your number.
