Default Crash when using template with SD2

Hi, I'm having a problem when I try to create a session when using a template I made that has ToontRack's SD2. I was so excited when SD2 was released as AAX. So I made a few templates in PT for each of the drum kits (multi outs). But whenever I try to create a new session with one of these templates, PT either freezes, crashes or poofs. Anyone else having a problem with this? or know what might be going on? thanks

What drum kit were you using? And ... have you downloaded/installed the latest libraries as well as the plug-in itself?

Thanks for the reply, yes everything (SD2 and all kits) are up to date as of yesterday.

I open PT11>
create sessions from template>
choose a template with a multi out SD kit (so far its Avatar, Nashville, funkmasters Jabo, DKFH)>
choose folder and hit save>
PT hangs for a few seconds up to a minute and then just closes.

I should try to recreate all the templates again

wow, I just created a tempate from scratch again and PT poofed again.

So then I created a session with a template of mine that works. I added SD2 with the Avatar Kit and multi outs (10 aux) and saved it as a session. CLosed the session and tried to reopen it. As soon as I clicked on the session file PT just poofed again (closed instantly). Any ideas??? I was so excited to to use SD2 but I cant.....

I'm getting tons of crashes anytime I try open a project with Superior Drummer 2. It seems to happen more with SD2 multi outs than if SD2 is just a stereo instrument track. Pro Tools just poofs in an instant when I click to open the project.. Doesn't matter if I create the session from scratch or use a PT template. I also thought it had something to do the loading a preset in SD2. But still happens with all default settings on SD2.
I'm also seeing other people getting poofs while hitting the shift key, not sure whats going on.

Gosh, I'm old. EVERY SINGLE TIME I take a look at this thread my mind is set to troubleshoot issues with .SD2 file format. I just can't think Superior Drummer

Thanks "C", glad to know it wasn't something on my end. I hope Toontrack figures it out soon.

Just out of curiosity are there any multi-channel VIs out there for PT11 other than SD2? I haven't been able to find anything.
