Default Issues with connecting 'stomp' box to FX Loop

Just purchased the Eleven Rack and am trying to hook-up my tc electronic Flashback x4 delay unit into the FX Loop.

Maybe I'm not clear on the very basics here but here's how I have it hooked up:
I have the L&R stereo sends from the Eleven Rack connected to the L&R stereo inputs on the Flashback. Then I have the L&R outputs connected to the L&R stereo returns on the Eleven Rack.
I assumed that this was a pretty basic set-up yet I'm not getting any delay signal at all from the Flasback unit.

Since I can't seem to find this answer to this question anywhere, so I'm assuming it's just me who's the idiot!!!

What step, (or basic knowledge) am I missing here?

Thanks!

Did you turn the FX LOOP block ON? Press the FX Loop button on the front panel.

I did turn FX Loop button on....and yes I did look at the manual even though the answer wasn't on either of the pages the 'FX Loop' was referred to in the index!!

Eventually I found my solution by pressing buttons and accidentally stumbling across the FX Loop parameter in the Signal Chain Devices window in 'Rig View. There I found out that the FX Loop mix level is set at 0% by default on every single preset. So that simple adjustment fixed the problem. I now can hear my delay device. I guess I was expecting it to be set at a default % where it would be heard immediately upon connection. Rookie assumption.
I then decided to scan through the manual 'after the fact' to see if I might have missed where it was explained clearly. I never did see where that was mentioned in the manual though.......or I maybe I just wasn't sure what the jargon I was looking for was. Pg. 23 looked to be where I needed to go......
Thanks to those who offered suggestions!!

Also, be sure to set the level button correctly (the one that says either Rack FX or Stompbox FX).

I suspect the default is set to zero so no 'unwanted surprises' are sent to the power Amp/Monitors.
