Sync WAV and MOV (44100 samples and 23.98 fps)
Hello,
I have a video file that plays out of sync with an audio file when they appear to be lined up properly. I thought if I could somehow make the sample rate or fps or whatever on both files the same, they would sync up. I don't know if this is correct or not, and I'm not sure how to begin doing it. When I am importing the WAV file, it says "x can be added directly to the current session, but it will play back at the wrong speed." So I tried clicking Convert. No apparent help. My Session Settings are at default. Are there settings I need to change in Pro Tools when I'm importing the files? Do they need processing beforehand through some sort of third-party conversion software? My Pro Tools level of experience is Extreme Novice. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.
