Beat Detective or Elastic Audio & Quantize! Plz Help!
Hi
I have pro tools 9. I recorded multi track drums. I need to tighten up a 2 spots. First let me start by saying Ive watched the limited utube videos on all this. I quantized my drums still it's all over the place. I'm using 16th note feel and swing at 100%. I know about the beat markers and tab to transient. Why am I having such difficulty. On these utube videos they make it all look so easy? Yeah right! I know this is a BIG pain in the rear! Because any one here that really would like to help me on this, will have to go the xtra mile and REALLY explain this dam procedure once and for all! CLEARLY and SLOWLY for all of us that are sinking in quicksand here!!! Thank you! May God bless you! Shaman |

Re: Beat Detective or Elastic Audio & Quantize! Plz Help!
Some screenshots would probably help. Also, if you can describe every step you're doing with Beat Detective then hopefully we can figure out the problem.

Also, Why do you have swing set to 100% Set it at 0% and move up slowly until you get what you want.. I've never seen anyone use 100%.
