PT LE 6.4 (Win XP) files on MBP with PT LE 8.0.3?
I have upgraded to a MBP with SnowLeopard and purchased PT LE 8. I was previously using PT LE 6.4 on a WinXP on a PC, and have a long term music album project half done with many files from the Windows 6.4 version.
Despite experiencing some initial bugs with 8.0.3 (hopefully to be sorted out soon), should I expect the PT LE 6.4 Win files to work fine on the Mac with PT LE 8 (assuming I install same plugins)? Do the files need any kind of conversion to a newer format? I have noticed a new file extension with 8.0 (now .ptf instead of .pts). Thanks Geoff |
