Default HD TDM Accel Number of voices per card both PCIx & PCIe

Hello, Does anyone know where I can find a chart for the number of voices per card for HD TDM Accel both PCIx and PCIe? I have an SBS Expansion Chassis with PCIx HD Core, 2 Accel and 1 Process. I'd like to know how the number of voices compares to a PCIe HD Accel Core plus 1 Accel card.

I've done a number of searches and would just like to see the number of voices per each card.

Thanks, Fred

No I think the documentation was included on the read-me's for HD7 or HD8

You should dig around the HD7 or 8 pages to try and find it - I used to have one but many moons ago

Can't seen to find the chart, but if I recall correctly:

With the original non-accel core and process cards @48khz or 44.1kHz, you could get 96 voices per card, with a maximum voice count of 128 (requires 2 cards minimum). Once you put in 2 cards, you can not exceed this voice count regardless of the number of cards installed. ( An HD7 will have the same voice count as and HD2 )

By using at least one accel card and one other card (core or process) you can get 192 voices total.

Voice count is cut in half when you run 96khz, and cut in half again if you run 192khz.

All PCI cores are non-accel
PCI cores are PCI-X form factor, but are all technically PCI. The extra bank of pins is not actually used.
The early PCI farm (process) cards are non-accel
The later PCI farm cards use accel chips and are clearly labeled as such.

All PCIe cores are Accel
All PCIe farms are Accel

In any case, you need at least 2 cards, (one of them will need to be accel) to get the full 192 voices. So to answer your question, switching to PCIe will not gain any voices over your current HD4 PCI setup.

I'm gonna look for this - when I get home - it's gotta be there somewhere -

I specifically remember checking the differences b/t the PCI's and the PCI-e's

If you're referring to the MIPS chart, (yes there are differences between PCIX/PCIe) it has nothing to do with Voices.
