MIDI Latency with Virtual Instruments
Hello There,
I am currently using an original Mbox on a Mac Mini (PPC 1.42 Ghz G4) with the Native Instruments Komplete 3 bundle and Pro Tools 7.1. My keyboard controller is a M-Audio Radium 49 connected via USB. I am having a severe latency problem from when I press a key to the triggering of a sound using a virtual instrument such as Elektrik Piano. It's getting very frustrating to play this virtual instrument, because of not having instant or a reasonably acceptable response. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll mail you a cheesesteak from the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. Thanks, Albert. |
