S1 question multi-master mode

When I trigger multi-master mode on the S1 ( I have 2 x s1 + Doc) either for Folder spill or VCA spill, once I'm in either of these modes when I hit the channel strip select switch to spill the vca or folder the master vca or folder does not stay locked to the dock( yes I have Lock Master to Doc activated) clicking on a track in protools or selecting a channel changes the Master on the Doc to whatever was selected; this only happens in Muti-Master mode. However if I spill via the Control App either Vca or folder the Doc master stays locked.

Question is this Normal behavior , a Bug , or am I missing a setting somewhere.

Anyone else experiencing this behavior in Mutli-master mode .

Are you sure about this? It's a little hard to see that's it's locked cuz if you click on another track, AC on the Dock will show that selected track. However, if you hit the SEL key next to the fader on the Dock it will then show you that the VCA Master is sill assigned. Double tap the SEL and you'll collapse the VCA

I'll give your suggestion a try but I am 100% certian of this . Hitting the 2 Bank buttons simultaneously will show only VCA'S while hitting thw same buttons with Surface shift will show folders. Eucontrol Software says Lock VCA TO DOC is ACTIVATED . I've tried every iteration I could think of .. maybe I'm missing another setting somewhere or this could be a possible bug.

Jeez, I finally figured this out and the fix is super easy! In the General Tab ( eucontrol mac) un-toggle "Attention on select button press" so if you've got more than one S1 and using the " Multi-Master feature " this allows the Doc fader to stay locked to the master VCA or folder that was spilled regardless of Channel selects on the physical S1 suface! I kinda figured this had to be a pref and user misunderstanding.. anyways issue resolved and if anyone is ever experiencing the same behavior and its driving you nuts; its literally as simple as toggling that pref in the General Tab.

I think the idea is that in MultiMaster mode you already have the VCA on the surface so having it locked on the Dock a second time is a waste of a fader.
