Default Logic Pro X + S1 thread

Hi! I am a professional mixing engineer and seems to me that Avid S1 might be one the best surface there is to control daw in mixing situation. S6 crashes the Logic so it is not an option, but S1 works almost here and there.

I am having serious freezes with Logic after startign using S1
Also i use Sonarworks referense ID for calibration, (which is not as bulletproof either, but I think it is mainly S1)

So Any tips - workarounds - things i should be taking notice that I could have the best experience with S1. (conncections, routers, black magic and prays?)

I am using MacBook Pro m1 max as my main computer.
Apollo x8 +satellite as my card
S1 is going into OWC thunderbolt 4 dock connected to the M1 max

OSX is Monterey 12.6
Logic pro X 10.7.7
S1 drivers are installed 3weeks ago.

Apple did fix some issues like this with that latest release but I think there one more and we are reporting that to them. Also the next release of EuControl 22.12.1 has some good fixes that may help.

One thing to help is to start with a simple session and see if that works then add stuff and see what is breaking it. (Although we do know adding and removing tracks can cause the issue) Collecting the logs and sending them to me via a link in a PM could help to see if it's what we already know or a different issue.

Yes, go to the Eucon menu bar and "Collect Support Files..."
