Default AKG C60 Vintage Mic - $1950

We are selling this vintage mic ... it's just not getting use and has been sitting around for too long.

It's been in a nice mic locker for years ... this beautiful vintage mic needs to be in use!

It works great but the power supply needs a few caps replaced. This should be easy for someone who has knowledge of electronics.

Please respond to the Craigslist ad !

PRICE REDUCED! Looking for $1777 / OBO.

Thank you.

Kinda bogus that you copied a picture from someone else's ad.

I would agree though my buddy, whom I'm selling the mic for, has been through 3 nasty car wrecks in the last 12 years and even getting a photo is tough.

The latter 3 are all the actual mic and a power supply is a power supply. : )

Good catch though.

No mention of which capsule.
No mention of the state of the tube or the capsule diaphragm (or any work done on it.)
A strange "collar" that was never part of the mic welded? bent? on.
No photos of the cabling.

And on top of all that, using someone else's picture (and not taking it down(!) after being called out on it.)

Plus email, phone number in a picture. And some sob story that has nothing to do with selling a mic (sorry for your friend but this isn't the way to sell a $2k mic and 3 wrecks in 12 years -- that's 12 years!) If you can't get honest pictures, how in the world is a physical transaction of the same mic going to happen.
I'd run far, far away from this.

For your info ... my friend has been in 3 awful car wrecks in the last 12 years and has a list of injuries and pain he deals with ... you wouldn't believe.

We have the same Dr who has been practicing for over 50 years and he says he doesn't know anyone who has been thru more injuries and lived.

Simple things like getting a decent pic, are really difficult for him ... so is walking often.

The alt 3 pics are the mic are the EXACT MIC ... the other looks almost exactly like it!

And the capsule is NR5801.

If you have good health ... be very grateful. Trying to help a friend so if you're not interested please don't waste our time.

One correction (for anyone seeing this ad), the weird bent collar thing is called a "ferrule split." It is usually only installed to use the windscreen (it is used to secure the windscreen and is removable)
