Default Upgrade to 12 Payment with Paypal
Trying to upgrade from 11 to 12. On the payment screen there's no option for Paypal, even though at the bottom of the screen it is listed among the payment options. The menu on the payment field only lists Visa, Mastercard and AMEX. What gives? Is PayPal not available for the upgrade?

May I know what are upgrade are you trying to purchase? is it for subscription or for perpetual upgrade to 12?

I was trying to get the Pro Tools annual upgrade plan ($99). The only payment options were Visa, MC or AMEX. No Paypal, even though at the bottom of the purchase page it shows those 3 PLUS PayPal and one other method as accepted forms for payment.

Checkout page states (at bottom) that PayPal is an option to pay for my upgrade subscription. However, all I get in the dropdown menu is VISA, MasterCard... No option there for PayPal, and no matter if I am logged on or not to my profile...

Same problem here...

And as for your suggestion to buy elsewhere than Avid, I had done that in the past for PT 9... Good luck when you will be trying to track anything in your AVid account (for upgrades, for updates, even to get your licence just ''recognized'' if you get into trouble...) Since then, I have always proceeded through the Avid store.

But yes, I'd like to know if/how you get access to payment through Paypal as it states they accept it, but the options at checkout don't offer it...
