Default Copying from other session

How do I import a sound clip from a different session? Like copy a clip made in the movie trailer into the final film. Google says import session data....then, the instructions get unclear.

Import Session Data is certainly an obvious choice and if you don't know how to do that, hit youtube.com and search for any function with the words pro tools after it, and you're likely to find a dozen videos showing how to do it. If its a single piece of audio(known as a "Clip" in Pro Tools), you could open the session that has it, open the Clips bin and "Export Clips as File" and send it someplace easy to find(like the desktop). Then drag that into your new session(or use Import Audio). Again, all of these functions are described in the PT help files(aka "the manual") or on youtube. Better yet, spend some money on a Groove 3 subscription for more excellent tutorials(everyone I know that has, has felt they got their money's worth many times over).

Yeah, I ended up doing it that way. I was trying to learn the import method but I lost patience.

Thank you.
