protools 8 install issue
I need help Im trying to install Pro tools 8 by software and i keep getting error E:l ProToo 8 Setup.exe is not a valid win32 application. My computer is a 64bit someone please help me resolve this issue.

Your computer is 64 bit, but WHICH OS? XP, Vista or Windows 7? XP and Vista 64 bit are not supported and won't work. With Win 7, run the installer as admin and do NOT connect the interface when the installer asks. Just click OK and it will finish and reboot. Then run the 8.0.4(or 8.0.5) updater, and DO connect the interface when asked. Before you do any of this, you might want to run the uninstall utility that is included in the PT8 package.
